How to Detox?

1. Think about what goes into your body!

Before we want to detoxify the body, we have to think about what “we give it” first! If we reduce our exposure to the toxins that we ingest or that surround us, we will have less need to detoxify. Remember to minimize your interactions with certain products so as not to overload your body: chemicals such as shampoos, laundry products, polluted air around you, etc... Make a list of what your body touches, breathes , eats, sees, hears during the day and analyze whether it is beneficial or not!

3. Improve your diet!

Easier said than done sometimes, the consumption of healthy and fresh foods contributes advantageously to detox, by favoring all that is green, organic and natural, to the detriment of processed products, fried foods, preserves and sweets. You will get plenty of vitamins and trace elements. For people who cannot resist it, it is recommended to limit the consumption of sweets as much as possible, perhaps replacing them with natural foods such as honey, maple syrup. Reduce your use of salt and opt for gentle cooking, to preserve quality nutrition.
4. Enjoy healthy drinks, Have fun!

Coffee, alcohol, soft drinks, refined sugars and tobacco are to be avoided, given their negative consequences on your body, especially in case of excess! Prefer fruit juices for their vitamin and trace element content, but avoid an overdose of fructose. Imagine the different mixes possible, whether simple or complicated: Carrot and Orange; Beets and apples; Ginger, mint and celery; Spinach, dandelion and cucumber!
5. Move Everyday:

Physical activity is a key element for our body, both physiologically and psychologically. But to stay in the same register, moving remains essential during the period of your detox, thus quickly burning fat, and stimulating your digestive faculty. Walk, cycle, dance! In short, something that makes you sweat, gets the blood flowing, and expels toxins and stress!
6. Fasting is a good way to Detox:

As you may know, fasting is an ancestral practice found in all religions, cults, and spiritual paths and which has become very popular in recent years.It is adopted for different purposes and several miracles are attributed to it: medical, detoxifying, religious fasting, etc. During this phase, the body rests from its daily activities to take care of other more occasional functions during the year, but essential: detoxification and the renewal of its reserves, because it exploits them to make new ones. With fasting, you will feel a sense of lightness, you will have clearer vision and a calm mind.
7. De-Stress your mind!

Detox is not only physical! It happens at all levels. It is important to decrease stress and deactivate negative thoughts because excessive cortisol secretion can cause physical disorders and disturbances in the immune system. We sometimes feel overwhelmed by events, new technologies, work, etc. But you have the right to slow down and go YOUR own pace. Breathe, meditate, do yoga or additionally enjoy nature, a landscape while doing nothing in particular.
